For holidays this year, Westman Atelier released four limited edition sets. I picked up one of them, the Les Etoiles Lip, Blush & Highlighter Edition Set that contains all new limited edition colours and a new powder blush formula. This set retails for C$212.
The products come in limited edition bright red packaging. I love how bright and festive they are! Everything is packaged in a gorgeous red gift box all ready for gifting. It is really securely packed, with the products actually glued into the box – I had a really tough time getting them out and almost broke a nail in the process!
Baby Cheeks Powder Blush – Petal
The product I am most excited about in this set is the new powder blush formula. I have the Petal shade in the cream formula, and it is one of my favourites. The powder version is just as gorgeous! The shade is quite similar to the cream – the perfect dusty neutral pink, but slightly more muted. The formula is sheer but buildable and on me lasted all day without too much fading. I hope she releases more shades in this formula.
Lit Up Glow Highlighter Stick – Biscuit
The set includes a Lit Up Highlight Stick in a new shade – Biscuit, a neutral-toned brown with a pretty shine. I do not own the Biscuit contour stick so I can’t compare to how similar they are. At first glance it looks like it would be too dark as a highlight for me, but it actually applies really sheer and gives off a gorgeous natural bronzy glow.
Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Hydrating Lip Balm – Nectar
The final product in the set is a new shade of the Squeaky Clean Lip Balm – Nectar. On me this lip balm applies really sheer and comes across like a clear gloss. The formula is great but I just wished there was slightly more pigment.
Overall I am in love with this set. The blush is my daily go-to, and layered on top of the Lit Up Stick it is just the most gorgeous fresh, glowy, and natural no-makeup makeup look. If you enjoy the sheer, natural, and dewy aesthetic then you will really enjoy these.
If you are looking to pick up a Westman Atelier holiday set this year, then this one is the one I would recommend. The other sets are the:
- Clean Glow Trio I (C$98) – mini Cheek Cream Blush in Petal, Lit Up Stick in Nectar, Contour Stick in Biscuit
- Clean Glow Trio II (C$98) – mini Cheek Cream Blush in Dou Dou, Lit Up Stick in Brulee, Contour Stick in Truffle
- Petite Brush Collection (C$465)
I already own two of the three products from Clean Glow Trio I and the shades of the Clean Glow Trio II set are a little too dark for my skin tone so I passed on those. If you want to try some of Westman Atelier’s cream sticks, these sets are a great way to go. The mini brush set I just couldn’t get behind especially when it’s synthetic hair and not natural. It looks gorgeous, but for that price you could get a nice selection of Sonia G brushes instead that are just amazing. If you are looking for synthetic brushes, there are plenty of good options out there for more affordable prices.
The Westman Atelier holiday sets are available at Sephora and Holt Renfrew.
