Natasha Denona’s eyeshadow palettes ranks consistently amongst the favourites in my collection, and when I saw this palette release I just had to get it! This latest I Need a Nude eyeshadow palette is a true neutral lovers dream.
This palette has the same amazing Natasha Denona qualities of being blendable and effortless, and if you enjoy her eyeshadows this one will not disappoint. The shades included in this palette are a nicely curated selection of mattes, shimmers, and metallics that produce an almost foiled effect. Based on the promo photos, this came across as a cool toned palette, but in person the shades applied warmer. I’d say this palette is more of a warm neutral, sitting somewhere in between Glam and Biba.
While I don’t generally go for larger palettes anymore for everyday use, I find this palette really approachable, even for beginners. Natasha Denona’s palettes are usually arranged so that each 4 shadow group makes up its own quad, so it’s really just like having several quads in one! The range of this palette is quite versatile. For everyday I like to just just apply shades like Stone or Tender all over with a light touch of shimmer. Some days when I feel like glamming it up a bit, I’ll add Muse for the wet foiled effect, or deepen everything up by using Silhoutte as a liner.
Natasha Denona is no longer available at Sephora Canada. I got my palette from Beautylish – shipping was amazingly fast via FedEx, and you prepay taxes at checkout so there are no duties at the door.
