Dior recently released a reformulation and new shades of the Dior Mono Couleur Couture Eyeshadows. These eyeshadows retail for C$48 and come in 20 shades, featuring four different finishes of matte, satin, glittery, and metal metallic. I have some swatches of the 2 shades I picked up to share today.
Dior describes this formula as being highly pigmented and long-wearing. I find them to be creamy and blendable. I also experienced no fall out applied both with a brush or finger. I have not tried the old formula and can’t speak to how these compare or if a reformulation is entirely necessary.
The two shades I have swatched here:
- 481 Poncho (satin) is a neutral brown
- 658 Beige Mitzah (metal metallic) is a light neutral brown with shimmer
I selected these two shades as they are the kind of neutral shades that I wear the most, and they serve as great one and done shadows. Of the two, Beige Mitzah is more intense and shiny, while Poncho is more of an everyday shade.
The Dior Mono Couleur Couture eyeshadows are currently available on the Dior website and Selfridges. Holt Renfrew currently has a limited selection of 6 shades.
